Midwest Speedway videos

Ryan Tunks, creator of the Midwest Speedway Preservation Society website posted some links to videos from the defunct Midwest Speedway on Dirtdrivers.com. For those unfamiliar, Midwest Speedway sat at the corner of 27th and Superior streets in Lincoln, NE, now home to a Wal-Mart.

While the track hosted everything from supermodifieds to late models, arguably the speedway's biggest claim is being the birthplace of the 360 Sprint class.

For some of us they're great memories, for the newbies - a way to see the 360 Sprint class in its infancy and to watch the IMCA modifieds begin to branch out to other tracks.

Here's the link to the dirtdriver's thread: Midwest Speedway Videos
